VTT files legitimately contain things SRT has no syntax for: the WEBVTT header, NOTE comment blocks, STYLE blocks, cue settings like position:50% align:middle, and inline tags like <c> or <v Speaker>. A naive find-and-replace leaves this debris in your subtitles; this converter strips it while keeping the actual text and timing intact.
