Why hand-writing SRT files goes wrong
The SRT format looks trivial, but real files fail validation constantly: milliseconds written with a dot instead of a comma, missing blank lines between cues, overlapping time ranges, BOM/encoding issues that turn Hindi or Tamil text into mojibake.
